I qualified in mortgages and protection (CeMAP and CPSP) and spent time working as an adviser. But the deeper I went into the industry, the more I realised something: the questions my clients really needed answered went far beyond mortgages and protection.
How does UK tax actually work? Is the UK pension system the same as where you're from? Why do so many people get protection wrong? How does the whole system fit together? These weren't side questions — they were the questions. And I wanted to be able to answer them properly.
